  1. Some observations...

Both CH and FB looked good. I'm excited to see how KT will flesh out on Monday. Houston made a good point on the previous blog thread...it maybe time to initiate the "one director per play" rule. It would reduce confusing directions, streamline run throughs, and in general keep everything running smoothly. It also helps your directing "teams" to work out your ideas together and then reach a consensus rather than bullhorn 3 different ideas into your actors ears.

These plays have good plot lines with some very interesting characters. For someone not involved with the writing process, it's great to see the charcacters come alive.

I think one of the biggest challenges still out there is getting your actors to act when they are not speaking their lines. Aaron's twirling of his hair and staring at the ceiling while Tyler and 'lil Moses were acting out their argument was classic...

  2. Oh and keeping with the song theme and Floyd:

"We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year..."

  3. @ Ms. Houston and Digacimio (sp?!)- Okay, that sounds like a smart idea.

Cannot wait to see the other plays, and our play in the fullness of it! Glad everything went so well.

  6. "Aaron's twirling of his hair and staring at the ceiling while Tyler and 'lil Moses were acting out their argument was classic..." has been worked on since Mr. DiGiacomo.

  7. I am late. I think we have a skeleton for the show at this point, and it's all about fine tuning. It's time to add those details and nuances that will really bring the show to life.
