How Did It Go?

Please let me know how you think things went today, Tuesday.

Then we can figure out the priorities for Wed.

A lot can be fixed in one rehearsal, just keep that in mind. Think of the hundreds of notes you all have taken as actors or techies from me during tech weeks in days of old. This can happen for all of you, too. Pennington actors and techies are amazing people. They can make it happen.

Also, bring in your $13. The shirts looks great. Too bad none of you will be wearing them. I'll have to sell them out on the streets :) If you bring your tshirt money in, I bet the Theatre Gods will come and bless your shows...Hmmm...

  1. Had some major cast bonding time we soaked up the sun outside, went over the notes, and even finished up with a mini party. My t-shirt money is in of course I will email my cast again to bring theirs if they already haven't, it would be beneficial if there was some sort of list for this if there already isn't. Hoping the filming of my play comes out good tomorrow.

  2. It was soooooo much better today, like so much!!! There are still a few kinks--tech was a litte iffy, better than yesterday but we talked it all out! I am pleased!! I think we just needed to talk to certain killers, because sometimes it just seems violent to be violent--so, I want to give some reason behind the violent (not change anything, just get the motivation behind the scene out!!) But I was still really pleased with how it went!

Also, Fishbowl was PHENOMENAL! It is RIDICOLOUSLY (sp?) good !! Good Job you guys!

  3. This was SO much better than yesterday. It's unbelievable how bummed I was and then, today, it was like everyone proved me wrong and...I liked it. I liked being proven wrong and seeing that they could do better. The lighting was better the sound got better. It was a success I can only expect more good things from more rehearsals and more practice.

  5. Ah. Sigh of relief. Claire- if you need ideas, let me know (for the killers). Sounds sketchy...doesn't it?

  6. Today was better. There was a rush for costumes, and I apologize for not having all of the costumes ready. We did what we could in what little time we had. Fishbowl was really good! I love the scene in the airport!

I will try really hard to remember t-shirt money

  12. Wow. Everything was great. I enjoyed watching all of the shows! (I mainly saw Fishbowl and Killing Time). KT, so much improvement. and Fishbowl actors, oh god, they really pulled it together, some to the point that it looked as if they just came out of their shell, right on stage. I am so excited!

  13. The cast of Fish Bowl did a fantastic job yesterday. I did, however, email them pages and pages of notes. Tech was messy yesterday. I don't know if the tech mishaps were just errors or actual issues of confusion for the tech crew. I will make sure to discuss all of them with Mr. Harding and the tech crew before rehearsal today. The show is really shaping up though. I'm very excited.
