I like the shirt? It should say "Because It's My Play" I'm glad the directors can control their actors, although I've had a few trolling the dressing room. It's okay, though. They have been mostly helpful.
This is the billionth time I've said this. Tell your actors to bring their costumes in!
We need to have a pow wow with costume crew if it hasn't happened yet. There are some discrepancies particularly regarding Calvin's costume between the costume crew and the directors. We'll talk tomorrow if that conversation did not already happen when I wasn't around.
I also like "Because it's my play!" I think that's awesome.
Thank you Mr. Moore. I don't know about the t-shirt, I like Mrs. Houston's idea I think it was hers? the 3 plays, 16 seniors, 1 blacbox.. you do the math. I think that one is solid. This whole thing could've been avoided if we had just went with something concise and simple as that. That's just my feeling on it, its been this way with a lot of things related to the spring play. Someone or group formulates some great but ridiculous idea it doesn't get executed.
Allison if there are ever actors back there again during a run through kick them out. i'm not saying this was your fault, we should have been on top of that, but just for the furutre.

Clothing issues must be resolved, I think Fishbowl should go to the dressingroom as a group tomorrow. Also, I like "Because It's my Play" for the t-shirt. Also, do we want "Spring Play 2011" on the front of the shirt?
Ok, so...talking about costumes...how is that going? Any characters in specific that really need to be pushed to bring in their stuff?!
Also, I think for our play we need to go over a quick little run thru with people tranisition stuff maybe, just to get a feel and idea of what they are doing...eh?! as for lines, making sure they know their cues and lines etc..., should we start instituting tough love next week? I know, when MB and I threatened to replace one of our characters, and then he got his stuff together....not saying we should do this for everybody, but what would be the best way to show that this is serious stuff, and the show is ubber soon!?! OK. I guess, that is all...!
Claire some advice for getting people to get their act together. Think of yourselves as a coach, even though you are a director. The best coaches in my personal experience are usually able to find what motivates different people and implement these techniques. For example, some players play better after being pulled aside and talked too. Others need to be yelled at and have their commitment questioned before they really step up. There are the select few people who only can truly motivate themselves. For example, they can be embarrassed, yelled at, encouraged, pulled aside, etc and still won't be on board until they make the decision themselves. In this situation you just have to hope they will eventually see the bigger picture and get their stuff together.
@ Jackie: if it's the pjs you have an issue with, we are getting them the same thing. I only said they could bring in dissimilar clothes because at the time because no one seemed to be bringing anything in. Also, your play was quite a distance from the costume room and I was using messengers, which made communication a little fuzzy.
Communication fuzz was my bad. But the multiple calvins will only need PJ's thats the only seen we want more than one of him. And "Because its my Play" sounds good to me.
Sorry I'm not there to help... Allison you seem to be holding down the fort (i expected nothing less lol). Nate I gave you the notes and I hope you worked on the hiker scene. Tell me anything you all would like me to do when I get back please.

I agree that the quote should be "because its my play" or since we have the picture of the heart it should say
