Spiking is key. Get this done ASAP. Pick a color. Any color except for black.

Headshots.

Switch blackbox users more quickly AND get started in a faster fashion. We wasted (yes I timed it!) 17 minutes in between the plays. Keep your actors hearded and ready to go.

Thursday night will be a long night.

  3. I know we want to do dictators, but it is a little hard to do. If I may suggest, why don't we take regular pictures, and then scribble on the headshots like they're in a year book? It's not as hard to do.

    Killing Time is red!!!

  7. This is me formally calling dibs on the role of being in charge of dry tech like the person who runs it/coordinates the interactions between directors and techies.

  8. For our group, since we are being filmed on Tuesday, I think maybe we should start to try to coordinate/inform maybe more detailed information for the actors so they know what to expect...especially, since it is key in our play--the little thing that is!

Also, spiking can be done...maybe in class tomorrow?!

@ Testa, would it be possible to start bringing in the music tomorrow etc...?

  9. @Justin - Usually I think Mr. Harding runs the dry tech. However, you can speak to him about that. Whatever happens, you must stay on schedule. We will make a schedule in class and you have to stick with it. Even for something like KMK, we had a time frame of when we were ending. Each show needs about running time and half to tech it in. So, figure that out and we can make a schedule.

  11. No!!! Good thing I checked back on all the posts.... because oh LOOKIE here... mine did not go through! Basically I said the heads shots can happen two ways, dictator or we go with Allison's idea. Either one would be great.
