But if I was there this is what I would have observed....
"Things were productive today. "
Reminder about keeping cast occupied! Do it. If You don't it will de-value the experience. AND we don't want this to happen especially with such awesome plays!
Note: As a last reaort allow homework, but the/your cast must be close by!
How did the start of practice go? Hopefully better than yesterday!
I hope practice went well too! also I have a quick concern. As someone on the outside who has not seen any full practices and the only thing I have to go off of is the blog, It slightly worries me that the only thing I read about involves games and people not listneing to the directors. I would love to hear how the plays themselves are going and stuff like that. Also I will not be in class tomorow, I think I forgot to mention that today. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteCostume Crew did work... ask Mr. D. He saw it with his won eyes :)
ReplyDeleteCostume crew actually got stuff done! We even trekked to Stainton. Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteFeel better Mr. Moore!
Yea, today went pretty smoothly, I think. We were able to tighten somethings up, and even finish one of the fight scenes, and the scene itself. We only have 2 1/2 more scenes to block, and then we can smush it all together, and tighten it up and get more detailed! Get excited!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am very impressed by the line memorization! Hoot hoot! Anywho, just a reminder to MB and Eli, in case they come on this, that tomorrow we should record the voice over of the reporter and phone...and anything else that needs such!
Today went ok (for me). Work was extremely productive for our group, and everyone is feeling good about the play, and that makes me happy. Our group, tomorrow, is working on all of the preparatory work for the video shoots on Monday.
ReplyDelete~Eriks
p.s. Luke, talk to me tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThe start of practice was nice today. We had a little delay before we started rehearsal, but some of the veterans of the cast kept the group entertained and focused on running warmups.
ReplyDeleteI do not direct but what I have observed is that Eriks and Kenny's group worked very well and used all their time well. I'm sure that Mikes group did as well!
ReplyDeletePractice was better that day, it ran smoothly! I did have people do homework and a lot of people liked that. All was well.
ReplyDeleteI'm very late, but this is one I have yet to comment on. As per Mr. D's request, the directors will now do their pre-rehearsal chatting in the dressing room as to not disturb the actors while they're warming up. This should help make things less chaotic and loud.
ReplyDeleteSounds like everything is going great, keep up the awesome work everyone!
