It would be great if one of you (or the three lead directors) can remind their actors twice over break to review and learn lines.
Also, make sure they get the new schedule a day or two before coming back to school.
Justin- if you need any materials, Mr. H and I will buy them over break.
Same with props and costumes. If you find you need something specific, it's better for me to know sooner, rather than later.
Stay in touch over email and check the blog before you come back to school. I don't anticipate much action on here over the break...but there will be some reminders posted on Monday, March 28th or whatever that date is.
Be ready to hit the ground running when you get back from break! That backwards clock will start ticking down fast...Filming will need to get done (costumes/props will be needed for that), blocking will need to be set, lines learned, etc.
Also, look forward to after break when I will start loving teenagers again. :)

Okay, I can talk to you during class tomorrow about special costume needs. We've got a few specific outfits that probably need to be bought. I put on the homework site that the actors need to be off book by the end of spring break. Directors should remind their actors to check the homework site.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone has anything they want me to put on the site, LET ME KNOW. Thanks!
Thought to ponder: Could it be that all those trick-or-treaters wearing sheets aren't going as ghosts but as mattresses?
Today was a good day. and yes the days are counting down. it was nice to play some quick games with the team and understand how talented they are. yay break.
ReplyDeleteyesterday went really well except fro teh fact that we didnt have alot of our actors. other than that nate and i played some greta games and it seems to really help the actors explore thier charecters.
ReplyDeleteI am SO ready. Allison.... you could be a genius. I have to talk to them about their costumes when we get back. I'll just make the announcement after warms ups.
ReplyDeleteI will try to catch up with everyone over spring break to see how the play is coming along
